Women Leaders in Sports is committed to developing, connecting, and advancing women working in the world of sports. Founded in 1979 as the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators, the organization’s name and brand evolved as its reach and impact continued to grow and expand. Global Prairie is proud to be the Agency of Record for Women Leaders in Sports for the past thirteen years.

After conducting extensive market research with key stakeholders (both internal and external), Global Prairie was charged with naming and designing the evolved brand mark and system to capture the organization’s purpose and better reflect the diversity of the women leaders it serves.

Reborn as Women Leaders in Sports in September 2023, the new brand and name allows the organization to better engage with their membership base and organizational partners to further promote and cultivate women leaders working in sports. Heralded by leaders in the world of college and professional sports, as well as by leaders working in sports-related businesses, the new brand has propelled the organization forward and it is now recognized as being one of the leading voices for women in sports. In their headquarter city of Kansas City, the Global Prairie- designed building mural proclaiming, “Strong Women Lift Each Other Up!” has received significant recognition and was awarded the “Best KC Mural of 2022.”
