The subject of food and how and where it is grown can be emotional and politically charged. Succeeding in today’s global marketplace requires finding novel ways to reach diverse audiences and bring unique perspectives together in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration. To address these challenges, Bayer Crop Science engaged Global Prairie to help the company evolve their positioning and outreach to best suit the changing nature of the marketplace. This effort took on even greater importance due to Bayer’s pending acquisition of Monsanto. With revised messaging that reflected Bayer’s vision of offering customized agronomic solutions to growers around the world, we worked with Crop Science leadership to enhance their thought leadership position in order to better connect with influencers and stakeholders across the global agriculture industry and food value chain.
Building upon behavior change science and the latest consumer insights, Global Prairie developed influencer strategies and created engagement platforms to help elevate Bayer’s voice as a truly innovative leader in shaping the future of farming and our global food supply. Today these efforts can be seen in two of Bayer’s leading grower initiatives, Bayer ForwardFarming and Bayer Smallholder Farming, all designed to shape a sustainable future for the world’s food supply.
